KGM Vietnam continues to make its mark at the Maison Décor Office project with the completion of the basement concrete pouring item – a crucial stage in the overall structural construction process. The basement is the primary load-bearing part, serving as the foundation for the office block above. Therefore, every construction step was rigorously inspected by KGM's team of engineers and executed in strict accordance with current construction standards.

During the preparation phase, the entire system of formwork, rebar, and technical connections was erected precisely according to the design drawings. The technical team checked the rebar positions, concrete cover thickness, anchor points and splices, and the load-bearing capacity of the shoring system to ensure maximum structural stability before concrete pouring. Ready-mix concrete used for the basement was quality-controlled from the outset, including its concrete grade, slump, transportation time, and the pumping process into the structure.

During concrete pouring, KGM adhered to a continuous construction process, maintaining the correct speed and proper technique to avoid cold joints and ensure the finished concrete mass achieved high compactness. The vibrator system was used in the correct positions and at the right frequency to minimize honeycombing, enhance compressive strength, and ensure long-term structural quality. After completion, the concrete surface was carefully cured to prevent cracking, maintain moisture, and help the concrete achieve its design strength according to standards.

The basement concrete pouring item for the Maison Décor Office project was completed on schedule, safely, and to high quality, creating a solid foundation for subsequent stages such as superstructure construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, and office interior fit-out. Ensuring proper technique in the basement helps the entire structure achieve durability, optimal load-bearing capacity, and structural stability throughout its operational lifespan.
